Reiki Class Description ~ Schedule

All classes are kept small in order to address the unique needs of each student. Each class consists of both a private session with Mia for the attunement process and a four-hour group class, except for the master/teacher apprenticeship. Ongoing support is provided in the form of a monthly practice group.

First Degree Reiki:

This class imparts everything you need in order to do hands-on healing. Students are taught a complete self-treatment, a brief chakra-balancing technique and a full-body treatment to work with others. The history and principles of Reiki are discussed, as well as treatment of animals, plants and other potential recipients that may surprise you. Class consists of a one-hour private session with Mia and four hours of group instruction and practice. Manual and certificate provided.
Cost: A sliding scale of $125 to $150.

Second Degree Reiki:

This level enables you to work outside of time and space (distance healing), and also provides symbols that deepen your connection to wellness and allow you to work with mental/emotional and addictive patterns. Attunement to the first level of Reiki is a prerequisite. Class consists of a one-hour private session with Mia and four hours of group instruction and practice. Manual and certificate provided.
Cost: A sliding scale of $125 to $150.

Third Degree Reiki:

This level is offered in two parts:

Part One:
The first part is attunement to the master symbol. This offers the student the benefit of the final symbol in the Usui system to deepen their Reiki practice. The symbol has potential for profound spiritual growth, is a remarkable tool to use with clients, and adds tremendous depth to their understanding of the nature of healing. This can be done privately, or in a class setting, and the cost of the class includes a pre-attunement Reiki session and post-attunement support. Attunement to the first and second degrees of Reiki is a prerequisite. Manual and certificate provided.
Cost: $350

Part Two:
The second part is an apprenticeship to train to become a master/teacher in the Usui system. This is usually arranged individually. The student is helped to design their own program depending on where they feel they need guidance, and Mia is committed to providing ongoing support after the apprentice becomes certified. Attunement to the first, second and third degrees of Reiki is a prerequisite, and it is a requirement to have done at least 50 hours of Reiki in order to be considered for this level. Manual and certificate provided.
Cost: $350
