Reiki Training

Learning Reiki is easy. It is what we are made of and so is more of a remembering than the acquisition of something new. The ability to be a conduit for an infinite flow of clean, clear energy is our birthright, and attunement to Reiki is a life-changing event.

Reiki training emphasizes self care and is as healing to the practitioner as it is to the client. Whatever we give, we also receive, because when we touch with the intention to do Reiki, a circuit is completed, and the client’s need for healing draws the energy through us. It is not necessary to deplete ourselves in order to be of service, and each class includes instruction on self-treatment.

In all of her classes, Mia emphasizes that the Reiki itself is the teacher. Each level includes a series of attunements or empowerments that open up the conduits through which the Reiki flows, channels that have become congested and shut down. Once these avenues have been cleared, the Reiki finds its way, like water, to where it is needed. The more a student uses the Reiki, the stronger the flow becomes.

There are three levels, taught separately, and students are encouraged to honor the lessons the Reiki imparts before hurrying on to the next class. Each level is complete in itself, and it is not necessary to learn all three in order to be practicing Reiki.
